We care about a healthy future for our children and we believe firmly that education around their health and well-being is paramount in this day in age. Every interaction around some of these areas is an opportunity to influence and shape the future of the child.
Our specialised assistance ranges from youth development services, transport, tracking, 6 to 12 week supported bail programs, weekend respite service and care during the busy holiday periods.
Being an ethnic specific service, we foster genuine connections with our clients. They both share lived experiences within their unique culture, our mentors have the sensitivity and awareness around challenges youth may face growing up.
Our mentors assess, plan and provide programmes alongside clients to support and strengthen their psychosocial wellbeing.
The onus is on strengthening all facets of their hauora. Teaching them basic everyday skills around the house helps to uplift their sense of self-worth to become valued members of their whanau.
We are equally dedicated to strengthening connections to their culture and understanding their whakapapa; in turn bringing le vā closer. We strive to create a caring a nurturing environment so our clients feel empowered to make positive decisions and choices in their community.
